I'd like to take this opportunity to thanks the Iceman for putting together this great site. :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :cool2: out of :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :cool2: Well done chief. By the response over the past 3 months or so I've been a part of it, I'd consider it a roaring success. Congratualtions.

On the downside I'll curse him. :argue: :tasdevil: :fight: :bashcomp: :poke: :P As if I don't have enough addictions. I'm just not getting any work done. At home or at work, fortunately everyone expects excentricity from me :P

Good onya Mike

Mike,
This is the first Astro forum that I'd consider myself as a "participating" member. That's basically due to the great bunch we have here, and ease of browsing. It is by far the best Astro group I have seen, and hopefully I'll get to meet a few of you at SPSP in Sydney.
Cheers

Yes Congrats Mike, I spend much more time here than anywhere else. I only go to CN to see the latest Jupiter and Saturn shots now. Well done, this site was sorely needed in this country.

Mike,

Really great to have an Aussie forum. I hardly do much more than cruise through CN occasionally now.

Thanks guys :ashamed:

It really is all of you guys, everyone, that makes this site and community a success. I've done as much pimping of the site and forums I can, now it's started to grow through word of mouth and search engine hits, which is the way it should be.

You guys can keep helping too though! Don't forget to mention the site/forums to people you observe with, people in your astro club, people you talk to with an interest in astronomy or are interested in buying a telescope - get them to come and sign up and say g'day (especially Gary and Robby, bring some more kiwis over! :D).

I'm glad to be providing a site that has really been missing in Australasia, and I hope it continues to grow the way it has been.

Thanks for all your support and feedback!

Ice,
let me echo all that has been already said, it is a great site, and nice to be part of. Like most others I don't spend much, if any time on the likes of CN, or the Astromart forums now. It is more homely to be part of this down under forum.
Well done.
Not too keen to introduce too many to it though, as I would rather keep it for myself. Just kidding.
