Desert Lovejoy

I have a camera full of Lovejoy photos taken at 03:00 this morning from the Victoria desert in WA (really dark sky) only to discover that I have left the USB download lead at home. :( Asked around camp and not one to be had anywhere. The screen shots don't look bad either. So it will be two weeks before anyone can see them.
The comet is definatly duller than it has been and it had almost dissapeared from sight by 03:50 but it sure is long, about 30 degrees.
Major bummer!!

Bummer indeed Wade!! Bet you had some beauties too, oh well, we will enjoy them when you get back, when the hype has died down!!

Noone has a laptop u can borrow that taked your SD crd?

The USB cabble is very common, and not juyst for cameras (as am sure u know) perhaps someoine has one for another piece of equipment that will fit eg. external harddrive??

Actually this could be a blessing in disguise as we will be hanging out and missing seeing this comet in the sky so your pic's will be greatly appreciated:thumbsup:
