This is the final time-lapse from the other days haul - the full length version of the first one I posted - Canon 7D, 16-35mm @ 16mm, f/2.8, ISO 5000, 15 sec exposures - from around 9.15pm thru until 5am

Amazing work again, Greg - I've been following your comet series with great interest. It's a big part of why I decided to drive for half a day to escape our clouds here :)

That's friggin awesome Greg, so well timed and composed. It's the only time-lapse I've seen of the comet, the final frames are worthy stills on there own. Excellent work and a pleasure to view, the planning paid off.

I was just watching it gain and read it's 5000ISO ! do you find you can get away with such high ISO just because the images are resized down so much? I hadn't considered using such high ISO for time lapse but it makes a lot of sense now I see this.
