There is a possible Supernova (Possible Supernova PSN J13051112-4931270) in NGC 4945 and a confirmation image by Joseph Brimacombe from Cairns Australia is now available.
Actual Confirmation will be forthcoming

Here I have added my NGC 4945 image to Joseph's confirmation image to show where it wasn't (if you know what I mean).

Mine is the colour image on left showing where the SN isn't. Joseph's on the right shows where it is.

A bright comet AND a supernova. And naturally we have clouds...

Yep JJ, a good Comet that's easy to see and now a good Supernova that's easy to find!

About time we were given some treats

Might get some break in the clouds next week Daniel. I hope to get a look at this Supernova.
It's easy enough to find
