Finally got my tent fly

After a few phone calls and email queries, I finally found a replacement fly for my tent. One tent maker wanted $59 for the fly, and most refused to sell a fly on it's own.
Anyway, popped into Rays outdoors this pm, saw this guy helping out a customer, so I waited, and waited, the customer wanted a fair bit of info on various tents etc.
The salesman was almost apologetic when he finally served me. When I asked him about a tent fly, he said "you are in luck, we had a return yesterday". Got the tent out, saw the dimensions, they fitted my tent exactly, and he gave the fly to me for free! :thumbsup:
A very happy camper indeed.
Now, just need better luck on the weather front...

Good on you Bo. My ex wife used to manage a Rays Outdoors store and I remember that we used to see all sorts of stuff returned in various states of repair and completeness. You can be lucky from time to time. :thumbsup:
