Hi,

Just finished watching the doco about giant leaps in telescope tech, culminating with the Large Binocular Scope. I thought it contained fascinating stuff and great graphics, even though it had to skim quite a bit because of time constraints. It was only spoiled by the irritating Bang! Crash! Boom! sound effects they used.

Then had a look at the giant comet thing. I found it a disappointing stuffup of a potentially interesting subject. Each piece of special effects was shown again and again, and .....argh. I turned it off.

Now back to the speed of light doco.

The show is back, same time on 7Mate at 10.30

But THIS TIME the episode is about Sex in Space !

Ladies, it might have Prof Pearlywhites...um, how can I say this.... featuring....um.....on screen...the mind boggles.

What spacesuit mods have been developed? Could there be a transparent suit like Jane Fonda? Will there be new standards for zero-g courting? Will they need a new type of booster rocket? What will astronaut training programs be like? Can the world watch, live? :eyepop:

These are serious questions. Watch and see.
