I did a couple of images of the Moon last night and found this interesting area. I have been trying to find it on a map but cannot determined what craters they are. Can anyone help?

Hi Tom. Interesting image. I think that the main crater is Phocylides and the flooded "positive" crater is Wargentin, with Nasmyth joining them. Regards Ray

Thanks Ray that's them all right :) The area was interesting because of the shadow shape between the two craters, and Wargentin - I couldn't figure out what it was but took a stab at it being a crater filled to the brim with lava. Here's a couple of LPODs with descriptions:

Hi Dennis, thanks. It's funny, I just couldn't find it and it seems such a well known area :)
