Hi,
As I own other Pentax "K" mount equipment I'm tempted to buy a K5. Has anyone used this for astro imaging, and if so, what sort of results are you getting?
Thanks,

if you are buying a new DSLR for astrophotography ide steer away from it and the K series unless your in zero odd degrees climates.

Don't listen to him, I think Pentax are doing well with high iso low noise, some shots I have seen a better than the canon equivalent, the IS built into the body is a plus.
You might want to lo up the o-gps module that uses the supersonic dust reduction of the mirror to track stars up to 300mm

... I know im bias Daniel but i have been though the dark DSLR days of noise induced anger :D if your going to spend decent dollars on a DSLR you might as well push to get a cooled CCD.... :) capture quality data from day dot.
other wise :D go a dslr and then get a coold CCD 12 months down the track when you are alot more void of hair like me!
