Whats your favourite bit of Sky?

It just dawned on me that I really only like 3 bits of sky, Orion, LMC and crux/carnia. They are the ones I mainly look at. Sad really, I need to get out more and look at the other bits.:D

So it prompted me to ask this question, what's your favourite bit?

I'm in for Orion, Southern Cross and the Scorpian...

Same for me in being stuck in the rut...with so many other things neat to see it is hard to justify not looking at more more often...

But, I am like that at "all you can eat" buffets too...I tend to go back to the same items again and again and again...you get the picture!

I suppose if I have to pick an area it would be from Triangulum Australe through Crux to old Argo Navis. Just looking at my Observation Planner List in Star Atlas:Pro confirms the above. Looks like I spend a lot of time trying to find dim PN's. I must have a sadistic streak in me. Or I'm :screwy:

if we're talking what do I like to look at with the naked eye, it has to be Orion, Hyades and Pleiades... they always give me a happy feeling with the universe :D

For me it would have to be Cygnus. I just love observing that area of the Milky Way on warm summer nights when Cygnus is directly above.
