Hi to all
By some miracle Canberra had a totally clear night with reasonable seeing. This allowed me to get some RGB data for the faint nebula N70 in the LMC. I'll probably be tweaking this over the next few days but for the moment I'm reasonably happy with it.
It's the last thumbnail on this page:

Very nice, Steve, although I still really like the Ha version of this object best!
Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks Rick. No problem - there are lots of people that prefer hydrogen alpha monochrome images so you aren't alone there. There's still some other variations I might try. Blending OIII into the blue and green might be interesting for instance.

As it turns out tonight was clear too but I assumed it wouldn't be so went to the pictures.

I always enjoy looking at your images and this (and especially the Ha version) is a ripper. Looking forward to your next one...

Have you thought of adding an AOL to your STL6303?
Seeing is where we are both getting limited.
Greg.

Yep - actually I have an AOL but I've been having trouble getting it to work with my system (almost certainly user error).
Cheers
