Here is an attempt at the tarantula form last night.
Not original I know - just getting to grips with my new kit. I bought an Sbig ST-2000 on IIS recently and I got an AO-8 for my birthday, this is the second time I have used it. I am just about getting my head round CCDSoft now and I think my focus was a bit soft, still it is ok I think. Certainly the AO-8 works nicely though with only a 5" scope I can only use about 3Hz on the colour filters - 10 on Lum with typical guide stars. My issues driving a moonlite stepper focuser from CCDSoft have been fixed with the new driver so I am just a few lines of script away from being able to totally automate iamge acquisition which I had working in AA4 with my old kit.
