We made a special trip to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece in the Laurel Highlands. You can do an in depth tour of the house with an expert guide, taking photos and even use flash. Book in advance - it's worth it.

Autumn foliage from the Summit Inn. It took merging a couple of images with HDR to get significant colour. This year NE USA went from summer to winter in about a week and the trees went from green to crushed by snow.

I've been to this house a couple of times over the years. It is a fantastic spot. The architecture was ahead of its time, and the house has been host to many famous people.

The tour of the house is great. Looks like someone just stepped out for a second.

I visited this incredible national treasure a number of times when I lived in New York Andrew. It's left an indelible impression on me. My favourite house. Ever.

Pittsburgh is an airline black hole so getting there from San Francisco was a pain. The drive up was a doddle, even for me being on the wrong side of the road for only the second time.

It's the 75th anniversary of the house. I brought home a boxed, signed (by the author), limited edition book about the property. It included a signed (by the photographer), limited edition photo. My sister will be green with envy when she sees them.



Chris, I knew it would have that sort of effect before we left Sydney. It was why we made the effort to get there, and sister will when she manages to get to the east coast.
