Home made focus motor mount

My new electric focus motor arrived and the supplied brackets didnt fit..........
Started with some 50mm aluminium angle and after a couple af days in the magic cave (my shed) came up with the below bracketry.
All seems to work ok inside, now waiting for the clouds to clear......

That looks almost the same as the one I made Trevor 18 months ago. When he brought home a similar motor kit from USA. I think I slotted some of the holes to give a little adjustment. I am sure it will work perfectly. Ours does.

It sure helps when you have a good scrap box and tools for working metal.

18 months?? Try 9 months ago. Came back in Feb and we built it in March
