Managed to test AP CCDT67 0.67x focal reducer, works quite well with obvious vigenetting as the distance was nearly 120mm (2" adapter + Orion OAG + Tmount + 550D), more than the 101mm recommended.
Still had a lot of trouble with the Orion OAG, esp on focusing and finding a guide star. There were high clouds and a bit of light reflection pollution, so could only take a few subs.
Scope: LX90 8" ACF, with AP CCDT67 reducer
Mount: HEQ5
Guiding: Orion OAG+SSAG
Camera: Canon 550D (unmod)
NGC2070
5x2mins, 2 darks, ISO800
NGC253
2x5mins, 2 darks, ISO800
Stacked with DSS and post processing in Photoshop. I resized and cropped the original image in order to attach here.
Victor.
