Some of you may remember the saga pf our bridge over the last few years:rolleyes:
We now have a new one :D
The bridge cost 2,65 million and is about 15mt above the river, but under a big flood the water has been higher than that.
Cheers:thumbsup:
PS my 6000 post:D

looks a great bridge Ron - yes you can design to a certain level but you also need to tie into the existing road infrastructure

Gotta say that bridge is looking a lot sturdier now, I always cringe going across those old rickety wooden bridges and imagine myself ending up in the drink :P
Great photos Ron, now let's hope we don't have any more floods or heavy rain ;)
Hi Ron,
Whenever we have been up in your part of the world, part of the traveling experience
and excitement has been the rustic charm of crossing those rickety old one
lane wooden bridges, our pulse rates increasing with the thought they may give way
at any moment, plummeting us into the creek.
Now they have upgraded your bridge to a 21st century engineering standard, visitors
such as ourselves will now have to rely on the high adrenalin rides at the Gold Coast theme
parks to get our thrills.

I saw the $2.65 million and then looked at the wooden bridge :eyepop: Then I realised it was the before picture and it all made sense  Congrats!
