Hi guys,
Here's some shots i got with the lpi through my 8"..Tell me what you think of the effect ive used called Inversion in photoshop..I think it looks pretty cool..My plan is to get the entire moon in high detail and stitch it all together and get an entire full moon with the inversion effect..

ps.. the shot with the lense flare is a practical joke i played on a mate....I added it in and told him i got a shot of a micrometeor impact..hehe..

Nice idea Star Crazy, go for it.:thumbsup: Is inversion the same a "negative" - doesn't look quite like negative but not far fro it.

Yeah, I just tried this myself on a pic of jupiter, it's certainly a 'different' effect.

In the film days astronomers used to use negative images to see fainter objects better. In times past I remember all the negative images in astronomy magazines. Don't see that many these days for some reason?
