Pretty average conditions just after sunset tonight (4/10) yet there's no jetstream or wind. I officially quit trying to work out why that is. It's a mystery to me.
These were shot at prime focus, no barlow in B/W. Baader fringe killer & contrast booster.
About 200 frames total on each AVI, optimized @ 90% in registax giving me about 40 frames to play with.
6" refractor & toucam.
What a multi-talented young man you are Asi-champ.
These are great.
Funny enough I was showing my daughters this exact same region tonight.
Well done.

I like 'em John, great to see more lunar shots from you.
The first is probably a bit too over-smoothed for my liking, but focus looks great and you did a fine job in ordinary conditions.

Hey Asi, great shots, beautifully exposed and nice and sharp for those conditions. Assume these are processed as B&W, but do you get any colour fringing on the lunar edge seen on your PC screen during capture using the Acro or does the Fringe Killer kill it?
cheers,

Thanks guys.
I'm impressed with those two filters stacked on the toucam, first time I've tried this.

Hi Rob...I tried without the filters at first & even with my best focus in B/W I could still see slight fringing, but adding the 2 filters I could see zero fringing on the laptop. Completely eliminated according to my eyes.
Yes processed as B/W also.

Hi Dave! Thanks.
I think I might do a B/W AVI run on saturn & jupiter with these filters to see what I get...Hmmmm.
