Hi All,

Well, it finally happened.....

I got off my ass and blew the dust off the scope and took it out today to finally use my Baader solar film and test out the links to the laptop after a Hard drive failure. Load all the progies again and test, test, test.

Left things out while it got dark (my virgin sun pics are pending) and tried some Jupiter shots.

First time ever with the Powermate x5 and the webcam on the 8" scope(thanks to the HEQ5 Pro), but the seeing was garbage and heat from the house didnt help even at zenith.....:(

So, anyway, not much of a result, I cannot remember how to process, even after re-reading Mike's tutorial for the umpteenth time....

Thanks for stopping by and taking a gander anyway.... :)

Cheers

Chris

Man, I'd be happy with that Chris ! Colours are great, some very good large festoons captured. Top stuff for a rusty rendition ! well done !

Thanks Ray!

Cheers Bob, I am surprised how much came out, not much visible on the screen during capture, and jelly was how I would describe the seeing....

Thanks Ron, I think I can, I think I can! ;)

Most humbling Clayton, thanks.

Most details and size I have captured so far Mel, the powermate has been in the arsenal for over 2 years with no use, no going back now....

Thanks for the comments and encouragement everyone, :thanx:

Cheers

Chris
