hi all, these are first light for my vixen 103s refractor for the lagoon, and andrometer and m42 and tuk 47 for the not quite collimated vc200l. this was also my first attempt at guiding, thanks to dennis zambelis for the lesson on phd  and scott alder for some tips on processing. lagoon is a single shot 800iso 366 seconds, andrometer 5 x 3 min 800 iso, m42 3 min single shots 800iso and tuk47 iso800 63 sec single shot. All taken on a pentax k-5 no darks or flats or noise reduction, will have to take some darks next time..........but i,m wrapped got my first galaxy:D. iisac turned out to be soooo much fun with the weather much better than predicted and the goal was to learn to guide so i am very happy:rofl:

Not bad images from the pentak K5. You have a little bit of work to do on the colour balance if you have Photo shop just take a quick look at at the histogram as you have clipped the black point quite significantly.

You loose alot of data like this so its something to keep in mind. As a ex user of DSLR's and AP I know noise will be your bain and one way to hide that is to clip the black point.

Just so you can have a bit of a look at the colour balance and what it can do for you i have added in a comparison of the both. Keep in mind this is only a 100kb JPG :) you will do much better with the full data set at your house! Good luck and keep pushing
