Alright. No fair.
I've been trying to image for the last three months and have yet to crack a night of seeing above 5/10.
This morning, when I stepped outside around 3-45am just as i was heading off for work I took a few minutes (as I always do) to look up and voila! Inky black sky... and stars without a trace of twinkle:mad2:
Not only did the seeing look superb, but transparency (the big thing for me lately) also looked spot on. Could this not have happened Friday/Saturday nights???
Anyone else (on the SE of the continent) out this morning and see the same?
I could be wrong. T'will be interesting to see images captured from this morning to confirm the seeing.
On the up side, I'm hoping this reveals a) I'm getting better at judging the conditions and b) better conditions are heading my way with the change of season. :)
