Pacific Baza - Crested Hawk

Well it looks like the pair of Pacific Baza's I saw the other day have moved in to the area. I see them every day now.

Here are a couple of shots taken from the front porch.

Canon 7D, 70-200 f/4L IS at 200mm plus Canon 1.4x Extender (280mm effective)

Jason, I love the first one - very striking eyes and pose. It looks like there's some room for a bit of levels/curves adjustment to really make the colours and patterns pop (then again, I like contrasty photos).

Dave, I'm very much a beginner with post processing, I sometimes do minor level adjustments and that's it. I really need to sit down for a few days and get in to it.
