Not sure if its polished or chrome plated.
A snap taken a couple of months ago . taken with 5D modded with 850nm IR filter and 35mm lens .

I'm not usually a fan of IR images but that one's quite interesting.
BTW, you may not be able to polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter

Zane,
That is terrific! Excellent tonality.
What lens did you use here?

LOL,
I have never been in advertising, or near it, and so did not get it. Once you said the a-word, it all became clear at once

I've never been that interested or impressed by IR photo's, so I clicked this one expecting the usual.
When the image came up, all on its own, my mouth said "Wow!"
Cheers,
Jason.
A fascinating image.
There's great clarity in the details.

Thanks everyone for your comments .
H , the lens was a 35mm F2
Jason , I know what you mean about IR images , I only used to take them on sunny days with fluffy clouds around but got over that .
The Uluru shot was taken in the twilight to give a different effect.
Thanks again
Zane
