Hello!!
Well last night was the first time in a long while that I was able to get the scope out, but high cloud and a decent breeze put paid to any attempt at a DSO.
So I decided to image Jupiter, which I haven't done for a long while. As with my previous images of Saturn I turned to my trusty QHY5 and a 2X Barlow for the attached image.
Watching the avi capture on my laptop was akin to watching a violent game of Pong, with Jupiter bouncing all over the place! However after stacking the best 300 frames in Registax6 I ended up with an image that I'm fairly happy with. It's not going to set the world on fire but it is my best attempt to date!
Cheers,
Mario
