Why was this thread removed? $10 dollar yearly fee suggestion

With due respect, this post is addressed to the Owners and Moderators for an explanation.

An intelligent, constructive and thought provoking thread was started by Chris (Hotspur) yesterday and quite a few members chimed in.

I am not aware that the thread in any way breached IIS Terms of Service, so "please explain" why the thread contents were deleted / moved? Perhaps another member added unacceptable comments, but surely if that was so the particular post should have been removed not the whole thread?

Seems rather high handed / double standards since another thread in this section remains intact and some members were complaining that the thread breached TOS "Think i got Ripped off" started 05-05-2011

It might have been too scary for the tight astronomers-The introduction of a very small fee on other forums has improved them quite a bit-Regardless,these free forums will become a thing of the past one day.It really was only a suggestion-is'nt that what the sub forum is called-suggestions?????-Not sure why they have it if they delete suggestions!

The thread was moved temporarily as there were already some abrasive comments being posted. If members adhered to the TOS there wouldn't be any need for such actions.
