During my 'Live' broadcast on Night Skies Network (I am doing it right now) I grabbed this screenshot of 'Live' video of the new Supernova in IC 4901 in Pavo :)

John G told me about it so we went to see it, and here it is. The 'Live' screenshot:

I turned up a lot of the settings and extended the Video Integration time and the arms of the galaxy started to appear! and the Supernova is more pronounced.

All this 'Live'. :)

Another Screen Grab showing the better detail with better settings (absolutely NO processing done to the image, it's straight of the screen of my 'Live' broadcast)

and just to brag about Video Astronomy again, and how good the mallincam Camera is even with a tiny ED80, I marked the tiny Galaxy above IC 4901.
This is 'Live' folks, not a lengthy image

That's impressive Ken. I had a look for it visually last night but couldn't see anything.

Thanks Chris.

Yeah, it's tiny, faint and hard to see but it's possible.
Ron gives a report on his 'visual' of it

Now you are just showing off Ken! I doubt if I could even find the galaxy in my skies let alone the SN.

All jokes aside you have really got your Mallincam working well Ken and it will only get better with practice.

The effort you are putting in is really showing dividends.

Looking forward to more live broadcasts.
