Yes, a real bummer when you shift & can't take the beloved scopes with you!

Good luck with the sale.

Do you really want to pay $200 odd for postage ?
if its someone within an hour or two i have no problems meeting them somewhere with it !

I bought a scope privately from a member interstate - equ mount as well. It cost a bit to ship - but it worked out fine.....

Yeah, I went there yesterday actually. The new 12" costs $1100 but only comes with 3 EPs. So the extra EPs and collimation tools would make this deal great, except then the shipping would then offset that. No one's driving down to melbourne soon are they??

Look, don't pain over it, I was just saying it wasn't lack of interest ;) If you were driving distance I would take it for $1100 but I wouldn't be prepared to pay more then that and I wouldn't want you losing money to shipping either.

Have you tried your trading post maybe?
