Nice one Bill,
I assume that there is a fair crop on that?

Thanks Itchy. The thing is huge compared to say NGC104. See attached full-sized frame below. For a widefield context (full frame) click here. (http://www.zodiaclight.com/images/OmegaCentauri4x30sec03Mar06Filtered WidefieldPoster.jpg)
Nice work Bill. I love the orange/gold stars sprinkled in amongst the blue/white.
Was looking at that last night myself. Looked beautiful through the 8" f5 in the Pentax XW10mm.
Well done, mate.

Hi Bill
Yea, I actually like that better than the cropped version.
Beautiful
great shot bill :)
I find at times omega cent a bit disappointing thru the EP but shots like this are always brilliant :)

Thanks for sharing Bill. Ah... I love this time of year with the rise of Crux and Centaurus! And Omega C. never ceases to take my breath away!

Great shot Bill. I don't know which one I like better, the cropped one or the full size.
And Ving, your not using a big enough scope then. Looks amazing through my 16 inch. Aperture is everything with clusters. :D
well in dark skies, when its a fair way above the horizon it makes a difference. at the mo for me its low inthe sky when i observe frommy light polluted home :P
