Bright Iridium Flares coming up!

For me, there's a bright (-6.3) daytime flare late Friday afternoon..

And then on the 1st november there's another bright (-8.0) flare at around 4am.

I haven't been patient or persistant enough to look for flares lately but i'll try and catch these two, and hopefully set the digicam up on the tripod to snap it!

Missed the friday afternoon flare, clouded over (again) :(

Might be up early enough to catch Monday mornings bright one..

same here, but i just completely forgot about it. it would have been a nice bright one too.

Bad luck Ice I hope you get to see the Nov 1 flare. Here's a photo I took of Iridium 84 -7mag.

Nice one Mick! That's the sort of shot I'm hoping to get, when all the planets align the my stars give me good news for the year ahead and I can eventually have a flare at the right time with no clouds! :)

I missed the Nov 1 flare, it was too early and I was working all weekend.. I needed more sleep :)

the 1/11 @ 9:24pm flare was a -6 and it was spectacular.

they're always interesting to watch.
