I got home from work after 5pm this arvo and was determined to capture some Sol. The weather has been toying with me badly lately... fine during the week while I work, but not on the weekend when I have a bit of time....

This is the best of a bad bunch from this arvo... there's only so much you can do with about 15-20eg altitude and afternoon heat haze... but I had to do it.:) At least now I remember why I image Sol in late morning...

Not a bad effort for the elevation.

Not too shabby Al. Plenty of activity which is great to see.

Thanks Derek. Full discs are easy with an ED80 and DMK41:thumbsup:. Two shots to the mosaic... no patience required:lol:.
