SPX350 F4.5, ATK-16HR, Astrodon RGB filters.

Taken in Aug and Sept and a quick image set up of these interesting dust obscured globs to go with the Terzan's I got. Palomar 7 image was affected by Moonlight.

Pal 7+8
R=8x5m
GB=5x5m.

Pal 9
R=8x3m
GB=5x3m.

Palomar 9 is actually NGC6717 and the brightest Palomar at 8.4 mag, included by G.Abell as a Palomar as he was unaware it was already classified but wrongly as an open cluster.

Thanks, John.

Amazing images John, really beautiful. I like the soft reddish colours and the smooth processing.
And there is such a variety among them, they are all very different - Pal 9 seems tiny:eyepop:
Very well captured!

It would be so easy to assume you captured a bit of optical aberration etc.

Nice job of detecting them.

Greg.

Cool clusters. Love the shot of the one right next to that bright star. Nice pic. :thumbsup:
