Hello all,

Wasn't exactly sure where the best spot to post this image was, but I have seen a few night sky scapes pop up in here, so I thought it probably fitted here more than anywhere else.

Shot an over three and a half hour star trail sequence last night while my telescope was in action on a few deep sky targets. Hope you like it.

Very Good! I reckon that shot would rate very well in the star trails section of a photo competition.

Cheers

Wow - that's a stunner - I love the way you've managed to squeeze in stars all the way to the celestial equator!

Very nice Greg. You are definitely producing the goods considering how short a time you have been at this.
I think there would be a few here who would be shocked at how far you have progressed in such a short period.

Thanks for sharing your story on your imaging road with us at the last club meeting. I for one was very surprised by your progress.

Great work Mate. Keep them coming.

Wow, Thank you so much, Doug. I'm truly humbled by that kind feedback on my work from you. I have been a fan of yours ever since I came across your website a while ago. So to have your encouragement is greatly appreciated. I was really keen to meet you after they told me at my first club meeting that you were a member. Hopefully I can keep the work coming for you. I'm currently discovering that a DSLR sensor is not the best once the weather warms up. Going to have to upgrade to a cooled CCD one day in the future. More money............:D
