Hi all, Had the first clear dark night for ages. This is 47 exposures of 3 and 5 minutes with Astro 40D and Takahashi Epsilon 160mm F3.3 Astrograph, through UHCs filter.

The 2 main nebula are NGC 261 and 249.

Hi Lester,

Your photo looks really good.

You've captured lots of sharp detail.

Ross.

Nice shot Lester. Actually the main nebula in the centre is NGC 346 with NGC 371 to the right. The only thing wrong is that everything looks too cyan. Many people show these nebulae too red but I think you've gone a bit too far the other way.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks Steve for identifying the correct NGC numbers, and I will be trying to adjust the colours soon. All the best.
