Hi Robert.
Mine is on a 10" GSO Newt, and I love it. I didn't buy the motorised one, I bought the normal CR2 with 8:1 fine focus knob. I motorised it DIY style, with thanks to RAJAH235 making a motor for me.
You can see it here in this thread (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=2116).
You can also see more of my moonlite here on the DIY page (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?moonlite).
Hope that answers your questions.

If the reason for putting a moonlight on the ed80 is that the standard crayford isnt holding the weight of your imaging camera, there is a focuser mod which will fix this and maybe save you some moolah :)
