e-mail notification

How do i stop e-mail notification ???
I've changed the settings
but still get e-mail I DO NOT WANT :mad2:

What sort of emails Robert. Notifications of new posts?

If so then go to User CP>Edit Options>Messaging and notification>Default thread subscription mode> and then use the drop down box to show either "do not subscribe" or " no email notification"

OK changed to "Do not Subscribe" hope that stops the barage
the option "No Email Notification" did not stop e-mails

I'll have another look and see if there are any other options. No email notifications usually work for me.

"Do not Subscribe" has stopped them
It was a pain deleting a heap of notifications every day

Hi Robert.

Here's something else to check. Go to User CP>Subscribed Threads>List subscriptions (in the side bar about half way down).

When the subscribed threads open up Click the very top box at the right to select all the threads on that page and then go to the bottom of the page to the "Selected Threads" drop down box and select "no email notification".

You will need to do it for each page. Either that or delete each page not that you have "Do not subscribe" selected in your options. You may only have to delete the first few pages or "No email notification" the first few pages as they will contain the most active threads. It shouldn't be too bad for you as there is about 30 or so threads a page. I've just decided to delete all mine and I've got 45 pages to delete :rolleyes:
