A good morning to be up observing or imaging, tomorrow Friday 3rd March.

The SRS (small red spot) will be passing the CM sometime between 4 and 4:30am AEDST, just as the GRS is setting.

There's also an Io shadow transit at the same time, followed by the Io transit leading us into day break.

Hope the sky is clear and the air is steady!

Good luck Mike, nothing but cloud, rain, cloud, rain and cloud here so reckon Dennis and I will be scuppered for this one.

Yes Robert - I will be catching lots of zzzzzz's, with the monsoon lashing the coast and dumping rain on us for the next few days. Look forward to seeing the results of the IIS Team who have clear skies and the opportunity/zeal to capture this event.
