I suppose one could pick less than 5?

Last month that's what I did anyway. Only voted for 1 actually.. (no, not my own)

Wheres the excitement of seeing your count increase slowly - very slowly - not at all.
It would be good to be able to see the results progress once you have voted.

Yes I agree Chris, now it's just a two second burst when you see the final result. Before the excitment built up for days.......

I know, I liked watching it progress too, but you could see the results before you voted, and so it was influencing who voted for who.

Is it possible to change it in future so that the results can only be viewed once you've logged on and finished voting? No one can cheat that way, and there's probably a little more incentive for people to enter their votes so they can see who's winning.

I'll see what I can do.

i always thought it was like this, ie any poll, you have to vote and then up comes the poll results. although from memory, there was a link to poll results, i think

You're right Dave, except the poll results were visible to anyone that's not logged on.
I certainly agree with what Mike's done this month because in past months there's been some really good pictures that hardly got voted for.

I like some and disliked others, but the general entries this month offered some thought in the subject. I couldnt decide on an entry, then forgot to enter so my fault. My only wish is that whoever wins the next one, make it an interesting topical one!

Well the poll didn't close automatically like it should've at 7am this morning - must be a "quirk" with the new hack I put in to hide the results.

So I closed the poll to reveal the results!

Anyway, asimov (mr bug) wins with his great ant picture!

You get to pick the next subject John, what be it?

Thanks John.

Well this is not easy picking this months subject.

How about something that all of us see everyday? There somewhat interesting to look at & photograph, because there forever changing. There also the thorn in the side of every astronomer! :mad2: I also figure if we're all out there trying to photograph these objects, we won't see any! :D
