Last night's Plato and Copernicus. Plato is reduced from the original, Copernicus left at original 1920x1080 resolution. I also added a reprocessed Copernicus stacked in Registax 6 with multiple align points, then reduced size slightly.

Here is a view from an oblique angle, thanks to the Lunar Terminator Visualization Tool and LOLA elevation data:
They have come up very nice indeed Tom, very close up and personal, well done.

Not too bad Tom, Copernicus looks a tad over processed and burnt out a touch in the highlights, but still very nice. I find that a little less exposure helps on the Moon and you can drop the gamma a bit to bring up the mid tones.
On watching the video I couldn't help but notice how much movement there was. Is that due to manual corrections or does the mount do that on it's own?

Hi Rob, it was manually tracked.

I've reprocessed the Plato image (now black and white) with multiple align points in Registax 6. I've attached it here in its original resolution.
There are obvious join lines between alignment areas, something I wil work to try and eliminate.
