Had a great night last Wednesday

With a group of friends, downtown Sydney, doing two things I have wanted to do for so long:-

1) Caught a show at the Basement nightclub. :thumbsup: So exciting to be there and it was not a disappointment. I've known of this place since I used to follow thebasement.com.au, Doug Mulray's internet radio station for some years until its demise - last show May 28, 2004 R.I.P. I have about half a dozen live shows from the Basement nightclub on DVD so I knew the view well. But I finally saw and experienced it. Our table right on the edge of the stage.

2) And the show I caught was a great Aussie acapella group "The Idea of North". Strange name, stupendous sound! Again I have known them for years, but never had the opportunity to see them live. Great show, nice to talk with them after the show and get a CD signed by them all. Even "With love to Eric" from Sally :love:
