For those in OZ wanting to make your own PMX external power cables.
I found the connector at Jaycar.
Its this one http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=PP0362&keywords=mini+din&form=KEYWORD
Part Number: PP0362
I made a set up today to run power to my Mount Hub Pro via the mounts internal cabling.
Instructions to assemble the connector are here: http://anacapa.kycon.com/website/kppx_videoassembly.html
Paramount Manual calls it a Kycon KPPX-4p connector (Mouser part number 806-KPPX-4P)
Hope this helps.

I am interested in a proper hub. Where did you get your Mount Hub Pro from and does it work properly? It seems a lot of USB hubs do not work.

Cool, another Mount Hub Pro user. The first thing I did when I got mine was to take it apart. Inside it looks like it was assembled from spare parts in someone's garage. The case could certainly stand improvement as well. I also replaced the USB cable (the one that plugs into an internal USB B socket) with a better one.
But I do like the functionality.
I velcroed the Mount Hub Pro to the Versaplate. I even have my ME itself plugged into the hub and only one USB cable running back to my computer. The ME's serial port is connected to the through-the-mount serial port up to the Versaplate panel and then via an Optec #19671 serial to USB cable to the Mount Hub Pro. And I have the USB cable from the computer to the Mount Hub Pro wired up through the mount.
So far the only thing that really annoys me about the Mount Hub Pro is that I have to re-power it everytime I reboot my computer or whenever I unplug USB cables then plug them back in, otherwise it can't be found after the reboot or cable replugging. It only registers when first powered on, not when the USB cable is unplugged and then plugged back in and not when the system starts up. So I sometimes have to re-power it as needed via a web controlled power switch.

Greg,
Got it form Star Optics.
Never used it yet, so cant give a report.
I have it wired to external power on vera plate and usb to the USB hub on versa plate.
This way I only have 1 USB cable from PC to mount controlling everything.
Camera Power, Dew Heaters, Robofocus etc... all from 1 box.
Will let you know after I use it under real conditions when I have autoguider and camera and mount control all sharing same usb cable.
I bought the Pro version with built in GPS reciver as well.
