Hi everyone,

I'm not much of an imager but I always like taking a few snapshots of the moon.

The moon was exceptional last night with very high detail observed.

Images were taken through a variety of Eps,a 26mm plossol for the full lunar disk.9mm tmb for wide fields and the 6mm tmb for the closeups.Telescope used was a gso 12'' dob.

Camera used was a panasonic lumix held at the eyepiece. No image processing(not very good at this).

Thanks for viewing.

Orestis,
Seems like you have a few good captures there mate, the detail is considerably good given that it was an afocal shot. Well done

Hi Orestis

Some nice images you've got there, yes the seeing was excellent last night, Antoniadi 2 out of 5 or most people would say 8 out of 10. Observed lunar last night for about an hour between the clouds clearing and the moon setting behind the neighbours roofline and had some of the best views I can remember using my 150mm f 6.5 refractor, W.O. binos' and BGO 12.5 orthos and 9mm U.O. orthos and 1.6 barlow nosepiece.
Enjoyed the visual so much I couldn't be bothered setting up the webcam, so your images are a goood reminder of what it was like, sharp and steady even at 170X plus. Keep up the good work.

Kid Regards

Jeff
