It's interesting reading.
And now a "dark flow" is introduced. So many dark things now aren't there.:lol:

Interesting one Suzy .. have to hunt up the paper (maybe tomorrow).
There's been a fair amount of work done to conclude that we don't live in a void .. so why not a bubble, eh ?

In the meanwhile .. gotta love this quote:

Well now that's a nice clear distinction between the two eh ?

Say again … what's the difference between dark flow and dark energy ?
:)
Cheers

Suzy, very interesting.

The dark flow concept has been lurking around for a few years.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_flow

I find it entirely feasible that matter should accrue variably about the universe; witness the formation of filaments of galaxies and huge bodies such as the Great Sloan Wall of galaxies. Perhaps there is an extraordinarily high-mass body of galaxies beyond our view causing us to flow in that direction even though the universe as a whole is slowing its expansion. In which the description "dark flow is merely movement" becomes self-explanatory.

Thanks for posting, Rob
