I am unable to ride a normal bike and so have been putting on the weight I used to ride 60klm's a day before and no longer could. But I finally got my Tadpole Recumbant bike built and am riding it for the first time on a charity ride (http://www.river2reefride.com.au/) for Sporting Wheelies and CQ Rescue Chopper on Saturday:D

Hi Warren, best of luck with your bike and your bike ride on the weekend
When I was on my travels last year I met a guy who was riding one from Perth to Sydney:eyepop: broke it on the Nularbor aand his parents delivered another one from Perth to nearly Ceduna and took the old one home
he said it was very comfortable ,but doesn't look that way to me
All the best

Hey Warren, you should fit a little video camera to the handlebars and record your cycling adventures.

A mate of mine has a little one that attach's to his motorbike helmet.

Hi All,

I had a good time on the ride except for a small mechanical problem with the left hand crank the nut kept coming loose so we need to solve that but that was the only problem with the bike. So I didn't make it but I wouldn't have made it anyway as I need to build up some fitness and I only had the bike for three days before the ride. Here are some pic's from the start line from in front and behind me.
