Here's a trio from Friday night at 10chain hill.

A little bit of 104 and even with 60sec exposures the core is burnt.

A bit more of 253, but some thing went nuts while I was oggling peter's MX so half the subs had venitian blinds over them.

And 4 single 10 minute subs of secretariat through the fog, just for a look to see if he's changed :)

RC8 on an eq6 with a qhy9 and qhy5 oag.

Nice set of images Robin.
NGC253 is looking very good with lots of detail :eyepop:
Some globs are a pain in the you know where to get right without burnout ;)

As others have said, NGC 253 is very nice. Globulars very touchy to stop burn-outs. Thanks for the views Robin.

Good to see you got some scalps, Robin. The NGC 253 is very nice, especially if you lost half the subs. I'm hoping for a clear night next weekend to get enough data to do justice to the two I started.

Cheers,
Rick.

That's an absolute beauty of a 253. Nicely done.

Horse will need more data, but eh you already know that.

That must be a hive of activity 10 chain hill, it seems to pop up all the time, what's the go up there,

Clive

Robin

I like the first two, especially NGC 253, nice work considering the conditions.

At least you managed to capture something, It was clouded out from 7pm onwards last night so Matt and I spent the night in the shed :(

There's always next week:)

Clive,

Peter (pmrid) is kind enough to let us visit him at his property up near Somerset Dam (about 100 kms from Brisbane) and there's usually a few of us there on any given new moon night. He supplies darkish skies, power, wifi, some concrete scope pads, a shed to kip in, and much entertaining conversation. We also get to ogle his latest gear.

Cheers,
Rick.

Cheers Guys. I was planning to just sit on 253 all night but saw 6 each colour subs on the disk and slewed away. Only 3 each where usable the rest looked like the attached :( Luckily there where plenty of Lum to get a result. I also had a dozen odd Ha subs here, but I couldn't get the suckers to align either

Thanks guys and gals, and thanks to Greg Bradley for the minimum filtered difference method to remove gradients. I didn't use flats on this one :D

A bigger one (http://starshed.celticcomputers.com.au/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/NGC253-Lrg.jpg) is on line now.
