That looks very odd, Philip. What is G: drive on your laptop? Is it your disk drive or a network drive?
The program is designed to be installed from a disk, however, I notice that it also seems to be able to be installed from a location on a HDD on the computer. If G: is a network drive you may not have permissions to access the file. I usually get this the other way around - 7 won't let XP access files.
I suggest you unzip the install package on your laptop, and install from there, or failing that, burn it to a CD and install from the CD.
I assume you are installing from the exact same files that you used on your XP machine? If you have downloaded it again it is possible it was corrupted in transfer.
