Yesterday I was interviewed by Brady Haran who does video work for Sixty Symbols via the University of Nottingham. I was talking about the image I took of the Dragon Storm and the image that won an award at Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2011. The video should appear on the site in the coming months.

He is also working on a video for the Messier catalogue with Google and Youtube, so my mutt is going to be present in that too. I was talking about M78 and M83 which I have imaged in the last couple of years. It was great fun.

Bottom line is that Sixty Symbols (http://www.sixtysymbols.com/)is a pretty cool site and I want to encourage people to visit the site. It has lots of science content.

I will let people know when the Messier video is going to be available but I suspect it will be a year away yet.

Congratulations. The symbol thing is an interesting concept for a website.
