Hi All,
Imaged Jupiter this morning in similar conditions to the previous morning.
Again my RGB data was pretty ordinary but my 807nm IR images have some really nice hi-res detail in them. Oval BA is prominent and there really is well defined detail right across these images.

Thanks for looking.

Top results Trevor, the first and last images resolve the most fine detail. Wonderful views, thanks.

Hi Trev,
I had to get up for some work stuff so could not image, but by the look of it I would have got less than what you did.
I had a bit of a chat to John Rogers the other day about those little spots in the NNTn. It looks similar to the recirculation in the STrD-1 in 2007. It looks like these spots are developing a bit and might be a source of an interim report. Looks interesting in any event.

Thanks very much Lester, the IR handles these conditions very well.
Thanks Paul and thanks for the background on these spots, they are resolved quite well in this IR data and do look interesting, will keep an eye on them.
Thanks very much Troy.
Thanks very much Michael.
Lovely views and details Trevor.

Very nice imaging Trevor. The NH (bottom right) is interesting, reminds me when the Shoemaker-Levy comet hit Jupiter.
What program do you use for processing the animation?

Boris

That's a lovely animation Trevor :thumbsup::thumbsup:
And I prefer the one way animations as it is easier to work out which way things are actually moving :P :shrug:
BTW lovely detail as well

Thanksvery much Boris, the line of spots down in the NTeB region are very interesting as Paul has pointed out and certainly require further investigation. This particular animation was done with WinJUPOS.
Thanks very much Rob, this was my first successful WinJUPOS animation, there are several things I still need to sort out with this program. Have been playing around with it for quite some time.
