Thierry has posted a video he made of UARS, tumbling along as it circles the globe. He's amazing isn't he.

Excellent videos JJJ

Pity I don't have 3D glasses for that second one.

Wow, thats incredible.

Hi Ric.
You got me thinking with your comment about 3d glasses.

Check out the 2nd video again and make your eyes go crosseyed.
ie: make one central image out of the 2 and see what that does. It adds a new dimension to the video.

Thanks for posting JJJ.

Woah, that's awesome!:nerd:

Yeah I went crosseyed to view the second one.
I've done some 3D photography before: basically you stand with your feet apart, leaning your weight on one leg, snap the shutter. Transfer your weight to both legs so you are centred, snap again.

When you upload or print your images, place them next to each other and cross your eyes. Bam. 3D images.
Sounds simple enough, but often you'll need to train your eyes a bit.

Go ahead and try it out next time you're mucking around with your camera!

I tried that Geoff, I don't think I can cross them enough to get the merged image.
