Check this out!....ye-haaa!
Well, I like it anyhow, lol. Ok Rob, how many arc seconds is it now? :confuse3:
I have 9.5 seeing tonight! :) This one is @ 10 FPS 300 frames stacked, but I have a 4000 framer @ 5 FPS going thru registax right now.;)
Oh yeah, almost forgot, the filter I purchased, just a IR/UV cut stacked with a fringe killer, seems to be doing it's job. The big test will be with Saturn & Jupiter later on.

Go you Mars Maniac ;)
Hope you get a chance to use some of that seeing on the ringed one or even big bandy.

Your comments are highly appreciated Rob! thankyou.:)
Yes, I'm making the most of this! It's very close to being 10/10 here now  But I've seen this before around here..it's likely to change at any tick of the clock! I'll be staying up anyway for saturn & maybe get a couple of hours sleep & get up for Jupiter.
You're unbelievable John.

you said don't ask, but this wouldn't be the effect when Dave turns his Hair Dryer on the Tassie night to bring it up into thermal equilibrium with his mirror?

the seeing was that bad early that even at 25mm (50x) saturn looked like some had a hair dryer out of the field of view and was blowing hot air straight over the planet!
crazy frog for the surface markings remind me of that crazy frog that had that annoying #1 hit!
