Orion Intelliscope System

Does anyone know if/where I can buy the Orion Intelliscope kit as fitted to their Dob scopes..any help would be appreciated.

I don't think anyone in Australia sell an 'Orion Intelliscope Kit' as such. Maybe Orion telescopes in USA may.
The Intelliscope system has been made specifically for Orion dobsonian telescopes and to install all the required hardware on some other scope, quite a few precise modifications would be necessary.
What type of scope were you intending installation on and what would you be trying to achieve?

Hi Rick,
I want to add the kit to my 12" Lightbridge. I realise that mods have to be made, and I have that information at hand. I just need to know if there is a supplier he in OZ.
I know the Argo Navis is vastly superior, but unfortunately a lot more expensive.
I also like to tinker, and this will be a good project to help keep the hands busy!!.:lol::lol:

I would like to pass on a BIG thankyou to IIS member Rick Petrie.
Rick has recently purchased an Orion XX14i (report recently placed on IIS)
The Intelliscope system was superflous to his needs (he has a Argo Navis)
I'm about to modify the base of my 12" Lightbridge to accomodate this system.
I will post images and a background story, when I can.
BTW, great scope Rick, a real beauty!!:):)
