Hi!
Here's my attempt at M92 from 2 nights ago.

Granted: my equipment is not really made for globular clusters, but my Canon is unmodded, so while I wait for my CCD to come back from repair I've got nothing to shoot other than clusters.

80mm ED scope, Canon 450ED, 35x300" ISO800, 30 flats, dark flats and biases, 12 darks:

The image is in black and white because I didn't manage to bring out enough colors, so I just settled things once and for all.

Comments? Thanks!

Hi Salva,

A very good photo.

I love monochrome shots.

Is that a galaxy in the bottom right hand corner?

Thank you.

Ross.

Thanks Ross!
I have since reprocessed the whole stack, and managed not to lose the colors in the process.

Here's a new version:

Yeah, I guess that one in the corner is PGC 59984: http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-basic?Ident=PGC+59984&submit=SIMBAD+search
